20 hours
We have designed this course tailored for aspiring animators or professional animators who use a different program. After Effects is simple to learn, but difficult to master.
We use After Effects almost daily and have done everything from animated logos, characters, composition and visual effects.
If you are a motion designer who wants to learn this program or if you are an illustrator and artist, imagine what you can achieve if you learn how to animate your illustrations.

Interface
We will start by going to the After Effects interface and understand how to work with different layouts, compositions, and how to select and manipulate layers.
Basics of animation
We will look at different animation tools and methods, keyframes, types of interpolation using the graph editor.
Masks and animation of shapes
After we get to know After Effects, we will create and animate shapes. We will learn how to use the mask tool to introduce compositing.
Color and compositing
After Effects is a very versatile tool that allows us to work on the colors of a video. We will learn the principles of compositing and later how to render and export our composition.

Teresa Romano
I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bari, first level in Painting and second level in Decoration, but I have always used photography as my means of expression. The experience in the Academy led me to the world of contemporary art and I had the opportunity to participate in numerous exhibitions in Italy, Mexico, Austria and Germany. In 2013 I won the National Arts Award in the “Electronic Arts and Video” category with an interactive work that combines photography and video through the smartphone, created in collaboration with the artist Marco Testini . I founded Kabum together with Marco, where I deal with creative direction, 2D animation and stop motion for cinema-style video commercials.
A certificate of participation will be issued.
Students must have a laptop with Adobe After Effects 2020.
